Refund Policy — Briwater®  

At Briwater®, we want your shopping experience to be safe, transparent, and worry-free. Below you will find our complete return and refund conditions.

📦 Return Period  
You have 60 calendar days from the date you receive your item to request a return.

✅ General Return Conditions  
To be eligible for a return, the product must strictly meet the following requirements:

  • The item must not be opened or used.  
  • It must be in its original, intact packaging with all labels attached.  
  • It must be in the same condition as when you received it.  
  • A proof of purchase is required.

❌ Returns will not be accepted for products that have been opened, used, or tampered with, even if within the 60-day period.

📸 Return Process (Photo Verification)  
All returns are processed through photo verification.

  • The customer must send clear photos showing that the product and its packaging meet the conditions above.  
  • Once the request is approved, you will receive detailed instructions and a return shipping label.

⚠️ Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

🚚 Damages & Issues  
Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt.  

If your item arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, you must:

🚫 Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items  
We do not accept returns for:

  • Perishable goods (food, flowers, plants)  
  • Customized or made-to-order items  
  • Personal-care items (e.g., beauty, hygiene)  
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases  
  • Sale items or gift cards

🔄 Exchanges  
The fastest way to exchange an item is to complete the return process and then place a new order.

🌐 Right of Withdrawal (International)  
If your order is shipped within the European Union, you have the right to withdraw or cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason, provided that:

  • The product has not been opened or used, and  
  • It remains in its original sealed packaging.

For customers outside the EU, Briwater® follows fair return practices aligned with international e-commerce standards, including the UN Guidelines for Consumer Protection (2016) and FTC regulations in the United States.

📦 Unclaimed or Undelivered Orders  
If an order is shipped correctly to the pickup point or address provided by the customer, and the package is not collected within the carrier’s deadline, the following terms apply:

  • Completed delivery: When the order is available for pickup and you have been notified, Briwater® has fulfilled its delivery obligation.  
  • Failure to collect: If the package is returned to the sender because it was not collected, the customer is not automatically entitled to a refund.  
  • Reshipment: Additional shipping fees will apply if you request a new shipment.  
  • Refund request: If you choose to cancel after the package is returned, a refund will be issued minus shipping and return costs.

⚖️ Legal Basis & Responsibility  
In accordance with international consumer law — including the Vienna Convention (CISG) and Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights — the risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer once they:

  • Physically receive the goods, or  
  • Are notified that the goods are available for pickup.

Therefore, once the order is ready for collection, responsibility lies with the customer.

Briwater® is not responsible for uncollected packages or the costs of reshipments or returns.

💰 Refunds  
Once your return is received and approved through our verification process:

  • You will receive a notification confirming the refund approval.  
  • The refund will be issued automatically to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Note that your bank or card issuer may require additional processing time.
